My wife and I recently celebrated our anniversary here and were quite impressed with everything. The space is very intimate with an open kitchen so you can see the chefs working. The dishes were artfully displayed and adequately portioned. The wait time for each course was appropriate for the evident quality of ingredients being utilized. Parking is virtually non existent on site as this location is on a small busy street, you may need to park a block or so away. We would certainly return/ recommend for a finer dining experience in the Perth area.

Delicious Italian cuisine with impeccable service. Home made pasta is delicious and can easily be paired with their sophisticated wine list. The cosy atmosphere is a sure-fired way to impress on date night. I highly recommend the experience.

Must try! This small Italian bistro is absolutely amazing. Dishes made from scratch, so don’t expect rushed, unflavoured food. Zero complaints, hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Great service too.

Excellent food they came when expected and at the correct temperature. Service was top notch and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended!

Bistro 54 came highly recommended by locals and visitors alike and they were not wrong. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and chose here for dinner. COVID-19 protocols were in full measure, wait staff wearing masks, tables closed off to maintain distancing, etc. Our server was very friendly and attentive, helping us decide what to order. She even made our desserts complementary and added candles to help us celebrate! We had a table next to the kitchen and we could see through the window. The kitchen ran like a well oiled machine, staff looked cheerful and worked well in such a small space. The food was amazing. We started with the smoked duck pizza appetizer, which was a great starter size. I wish they would make this a full size, I could eat this all day. My wife had chicken parmesan and I had the salmon, both were cooked perfectly and tasted great. We finished with creme brule and a chocolate brownie for desserts. What an incredible time, we will consider eating here again for special occasions. The meal was just over 100 for the two of us so it is not inexpensive, but well worth it for special occasions.

This restaurant is excellent! The food is some of the best I’ve had outside of Italy and the staff are fantastic. I’ve only seen one bad review for them, obviously a troll or disgruntled competitor. If they are in fact a genuine diner they sadly can’t tell their arse from a can of Chef Boyardee ravioli when it comes to fine Italian cuisine Do yourself a favour and give Bistro 57 a try!

What a quaint, romantic venue for an authentic Italian experience. Marcella was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with care. She gave our group space to connect while ensuring seamless service. The Caesar salad, bruschetta, and main pastas were all delicious — each dish full of fresh, vibrant flavours. The salted caramel gelato was absolutely divine, and the cheesecake was light, fresh, and bursting with flavour. A truly memorable dining experience!

Enjoyed a wonderful anniversary dinner here, compliments of our kids. Even the gift certificate card is lovely! We were fortunate to have a nice evening to be able to sit outside under the pretty lights. A large display board with interesting cocktails tempted us to start, and we shared a delicious tuna tartar appetizer. I had the shrimp stew with fantastic fennel flavors (wished it had a few more green olives, which I love). My husband had the seafood with shrimp risotto, also delicious. We topped the evening off by sharing a Creme Brule, easily the best I've ever tasted. To-die-for rich flavors of cardamom and orange. Oh, YUM! Our server, Marcela, was delightful. Sadly, totally run off her feet, with no assistance from the folks inside. The service door is very poorly set up so she had to make sure it didn't completely close or she was locked out. Which did happen. And awkward for her to get in and out without having to put dishes down to open the door. I felt badly for her, and hence only four stars for service, not at all her fault. She was cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Kudos! We'll be back!
